The Curtis HD79 is a vintage, uncut automotive key blank manufactured by Curtis Automotive for older Honda cars and motorcycles.
It is primarily found as "New Old Stock" through collector or locksmith inventories.
Do not use this key blank for 1989 or newer Honda vehicles. In 1989, Honda introduced a "Push to Lock" ignition feature that required key blades to be 4mm longer. Inserting a shorter HD79 key into a 1989 or newer ignition cylinder can cause the key to become permanently stuck.
